The 6th.March, at six in the evening, saw the Opening of the exhibition “The Power of Colour” by Muhadin Kishev in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. Muhadin Kishev is artist emeritus of Kabardino-Balkaria, member of the Spanish Section of the European Academy of Arts, member of the Russian Academy of Arts and since 1998 has been living and working in his Studio in the Province of Cadiz in Spain.

The Opening was attended by the Minister for Culture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Sokolov; the Spanish Ambassador in Moscow, Juan Antonio March Pujol; the Vice-Consul of Kabardino-Balkaria in Moscow, Alexander Keshokov; the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts, Dimitri Shvidkovski; the Director of Scientific Investigation of the Institute of the Russian Academy of Arts, Víctor Vanslov; the Director of the International Islamic Mission in Moscow, Shafig Pshijachev; the Professor in Philology from Moscow University, Tatiana Shomajova and Director of the Department of  Bank of Reconstruction and development in Moscow, Ahmed Zhamanov.

The Spanish Ambassador spoke with great understanding of Contemporary art and thanked Muhadin for the fact that he has chosen Spain as his second homeland, to dedicate himself to his art at the height of his artistic career. The Vice-Consul read out a telegram from the President of Kabardino-Balkaria, Arsen Kanokov. Victor Vanslov spoke of the great professionalism of the artist, who with his use of colour and imagination creates a hymn to beauty.
 
The exhibition was hung in the three rooms of the Museum dedicated to Temporary Exhibitions and was made up of approximately 60 works of art from the series: Nostalgia for Nature, the Voice of the Artist, The Circle in Art and the Power of Colour, among which were about 15 pictures of recent creation. The paintings emanate an aura of the Coast of the Light in Cadiz, where the artist works and derives his inspiration. The Museum has published a catalogue and the event was broadcast on Television channels.
