Rosario Alarcón thanked Muhadin for the splendid exhibition and expressed the hope that Muhadin would also show his work in Cordoba in the year 2016 when Cordoba aspires to be the Cultural City of Europe. Muhadin expressed his gratitude for the warmth with which he is always received in Spain, which is for him like a second motherland and where he paints the great part of his pictures..

The exhibition was made up of about 30 paintings, oil on canvas, monotype on paper and graphic work from the series “Wheel of the Year”, “Andalusian Summer” and “Andalusian Abundance” – which all form part of a project “Around the Circle”, where the artist explores the possibilities of artistic expression using the circle and the semi-circle to create images that are both abstract and realistic, where the artist wants to highlight how fragile the boundary is between the abstract and the realistic. In the words of the artist: “The use of the circle in art gives greater strength and subtlety to the artistic thought, facilitating a more romantic and mysterious kind of expression.”
